8 FC ROMA Futsal Players Selected for the US Youth Futsal International Teams 🇺🇸⚽

We are incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement for our FC ROMA Futsal Academy community: 8 out of 10 FC ROMA players who attended the US Youth Futsal National ID have been selected for the US Youth Futsal International Teams (5 have been selected for the main rosters, 3 of them have been selected as alternate players).

This accomplishment didn't happen overnight.

It is the result of one full year of hard work, commitment, countless hours of practice, competitive games, challenges, learning, and continuous development.

Throughout the season, these players consistently showed up and put in the work. They trained, competed, made mistakes, learned from them, and continued pushing themselves to become better futsal players.

When they arrived at the US Youth Futsal National ID in Richmond, Virginia, from June 30 to July 2, they were ready.

Ready to compete.Ready to demonstrate their understanding of the game.Ready to show their technical and tactical abilities.And, most importantly, ready to show who they had become after a year of hard work.

Having 8 of our 10 participating players selected for the International Teams is something that makes us extremely proud.

They earned this opportunity.

Their selection is not only recognition of their individual talent, but also of their commitment, consistency, attitude, and willingness to learn and improve throughout the entire season.

For FC ROMA Futsal Academy, this achievement also represents something bigger.

Our mission has always been to provide players with an environment where real futsal can accelerate their development—technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. We want our players to become more confident with the ball, make faster and better decisions, understand spaces, develop game intelligence, and learn how to compete at increasingly higher levels.

Seeing so many of our players earn the opportunity to represent the United States internationally is a special confirmation that consistent work and the right development environment can create incredible opportunities.

NEXT STOP: LISBON, PORTUGAL 🇵🇹

Now, a new challenge begins.

From December 27 through January 3, our selected players will have the opportunity to travel to Lisbon, Portugal, and represent the US Youth Futsal International Teams on an international stage.

Playing futsal in Europe, competing against players from different countries and experiencing a different futsal culture will be another important step in their development.

We couldn't be more excited to see how they will respond to this challenge.

They have earned the opportunity.

Now it's time to work even harder, keep developing, and get ready to show up on the international stage.
